In an effort to promote the exchange of international fishery techniques, the FRI regularly sponsors international conferences, and also sends technicians abroad to provide instruction in fishery techniques. Sometimes foreign technicians come to learn about the aquaculture skills. Short-term training courses are also arranged for them.

　　For aquafarmers, we offer seminars, workshops, and training programs. We also handle inquiries about other fishery techniques. For the general public, aquariums and exhibits are available for viewing at the FRI headquarters and all FRI research centers. The FRI uses these aids to make learning about aquatic life fun for everyone. To ensure healthier and safer products for our customers, the FRI has established the Marine Product Inspection Service Center. In addition to testing processed seafood on a commission basis, this Center often conducts compulsory tests on random samples gathered from local markets.
