This study is to understand the processes of artificial propagation of Mercenaria mercenaria , the effect of different salinity on hatching rate, larva metamorphosis rate and survival rate and different stocking densities on the growth of juveniles.Propagation process was to select mature broodstock and to cool dry for four hours, then put into 3.5 tons of glass fiber water tank for artificial breeding. Artificial propagation of this year were six times, fertilized eggs per batch were between 1000 to 3100 ten thousand. The fertilized egg placed into 0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35psu eight different salinities, The 20psu and 30psu groups were significantly higher than the other groups, followed by 35 psu, the worst was the 15 psu ,10psu and 5psu groups significantly lower than the other groups. The larva (183.3±4.5µm) placed into 5,8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29 ,32 and 35psu different salinities observed its survival and metamorphosis rate. The best survival rate were between 17psu to 20psu for 84.24- 85.45%, followed by 23psu to 26psu for 73.91% - 76.59%, the worst was less than 8psu. The best metamorphosis rate were between 17psu to 20 psu for 81.79% to82.67%, followed by 23psu to 26psu for for 71.88% - 74.55%, less than 11psu the metamorphosis rate were 0%. Effect of different stocking densities 60,90,120,150,180,210 individual / m 2 on the growth of juvenile: the initial average shell length 14.01±0.84mm and total weight of 0.795± 0.105g of Mercenaria mercenaria were used for growth performance. In shell length growth and weight growth, the 60 individual / m2 was significant higher than other groups. the worst was the 210 individual / m2 group significantly lower than the other groups. the length growth and weight increase rate were between 37.19% to 65.37% and 131.51% to 327.86%.
