This study aims to find optimum stock condition of microalga on strains preservation. In this study, the microalgae strains of test include Porphyridium cruentum ,Chlorella sorokiniana , Chlorella vulgaris , Arthrospira maxima and Dunaliella salina, a total of 5 strains of microalgae.
The effect results of the culture medium formulation, salinity, temperature and photosynthetically active radiation showed that optimum temperature and photosynthetically active radiation of microalga stock condition are 100umol/m2 /s and 20°C for culturing Dunaliella salina, 50umol/m2 /s and 25°C for culturing Arthrospira maxima, and the optimal stock condition of Chlorella sorokiniana, Chlorella vulgaris and Porphyridium cruentum was 50umol/m2 /s and 30 °C; Microalgae culture experiments, pumping trace amounts of carbon dioxide or air in can promote the growth rate of microalgae. In this study, microalgae strains of tests included Porphyridium cruentum , Chlorella sorokiniana, Chlorella vulgaris, Arthrospira maxima and Synechococcus sp., a total of 5 microalgae strains, analysis of the nutrients contained in each microalgae, the results show that Synechococcus sp. contains higher protein, Arthrospira maxima content higher moisture, the ash content of Porphyridium cruentum is higher, and the lipid content of Chlorella sorokiniana and Chlorella vulgaris is higher.
