In recent years, live yellowfin tuna transportation technology has been established, and the survival rate more than 95%. However, Taiwan location in the typhoons route, and often causing a culture fish large numbers of dead. The yellowfin tuna culture should be based on short-term fattening in the sea cage. In this study, the yellowfin tuna was shortterm fattening for 4 month, and yellowfin tuna lipid was more than 16 times of wild.We have raised 15 of 3-year-oldThunnus tonggolin a 1500 m 3recirculating broodstock pond combined with algal culture to clean sea water. The tuna body length is estimated over 60 cm and close to size at maturity. The cultured red algae,Sarcodia ceylanicagrew well and remove ammonia nitrogen and phosphate from circulating aquaculture system effectively. At present, we have preserved 3 yellowfin tuna semen and try to do more as far as possible.
