臺灣沿海日本鰻苗資源調查研究

本研究於2007-2017年期間,利用水試一、二號於臺灣周邊海域共計完成18航次,總 計746測站之鰻形類幼苗採樣,累計採樣285尾鰻形目(Anguilliformes)幼苗,其中 以蛇鰻科(Ophichthidae)幼苗數量最高、其次為糯鰻科(Congridae)、鯙科 (Muraenidae)、海鰻科(Muraenesocidae)、鴨嘴鰻科(Nettastomatidae),但無本研 究之目標種類日本鰻幼苗。據此,本研究推測柳葉形日本鰻鰻線可能之分布水層超 過200m以深,亦或隨黑潮輸送至臺灣周邊海域前已完成變態成鰻線。高屏地區日本 鰻線年漁獲量與前一年度1月期間臺灣西南海域平均海水表面溫度呈負相關 (r=0.63)。本年度澎湖地區漁民尚未開始進行日本鰻線捕撈作業,尚無相關漁獲資 料;但本年度成功灣海域已捕獲73尾日本鰻線,其全長介於55.2-59.7mm之間,平均 體全長為57.7±1.5mm。

In this study, 18 cruises, include 746 stations, were carried on board Fishery Research 1 and 2, and 285 eel larvae of Anguilliformes were sampled during 2007-2017 in the surrounding waters of Taiwan. The leptocephalus ofAnguilla japonicahad not caught in our sampling cruises, and the dominant categories of Anguilliformes eel including Ophichthidae, Congridae, Muraenidae, Muraenesocidae and Nettastomatidae. Two hypotheses were made according to our sampling results:1)The leptocephali ofAnguilla japonicalarva distributed in the waters deeper than 200m; 2)Anguilla japonicalarva metamorphose metamorphosed before it were transported into the surrounding waters of Taiwan. The annual catches ofAnguilla japonicalarva in Kaohsiung and Pingtung show negatively correlated with the average sea surface temperature in southwestern waters of Taiwan in January of the previous year. There still have no catch data ofAnguilla japonicalarva in this year because the fisherman of Penghu has not start fishing on it. There have 73Anguilla japonicalarva caught in the water of Cheng-Kung Bay, their total length varied between 55.2-59.7mm, and the mean total length was 57.7±1.5mm.
