A lot of yellowfin tuna juveniles were caught either by set net or at artificial floating reefsnear Taiwan shore. Owing to the fishing methods or the difficulty of transportation, thesurvival rate of juveniles were quite low. This project is aiming to improve fishingmethods, transportation, acclimation of juveniles, development of artificial feed,improvement of cage net, diseases prevention and acquisition of broodstock so as to setup the technology of yellowfin tuna culture in Taiwan.
