The Fisheries Research Institute (FRI) established an Innovation & Incubation Center in November 2009. After 3 years of operation, there were 12 companies have been stationed in the Innovation & Incubation Center with our conseling. There were still 8 industries in our Innovation & Incubation Center, and we successed to make an industry set up a company.
This project was to set up outdoor facilities for microalgae cultivation in Penghu Marine Biology Research Center. This will provide incubators who enter seahorse, ornamental shrimp, and areola Babylon breeding programs to have sufficient and high-quality primary feed. In addition, incubators can use these facilities to test and demonstrate on their studies. This can help to find potential firms to be our incubators. The industry may also develop further through this technology transfer.
