本研究探討點帶石斑 (Epinephelus coioides) 餵飼益生菌Bacillus licheniformis FRI MY-55及其發酵產物-乳果糖 (lactosucrose) 與果聚糖 (levan) 對於魚隻糞便中短鏈脂肪酸 + 乳酸、免疫指數及抵抗病原菌之影響。點帶石斑分別餵飼對照組、B. licheniformis FRI MY-55 + 乳果糖、B. licheniformis FRI MY-55 + 果聚糖飼料10週。結果顯示,點帶石斑分別餵飼3種飼料5及10週後,試驗組魚隻糞便中短鏈脂肪酸及乳酸之含量均高於對照組。免疫指數方面,以病原菌-哈維氏弧菌 (Vibrio harveyi)攻擊前後,試驗組魚隻血清中溶菌酶活性均較對照組高 (p < 0.05);而以哈維氏弧菌攻擊後,試驗組魚隻血液中呼吸爆均較對照組高 (p < 0.05),且試驗組魚隻存活率均高於對照組 (p < 0.05)。以上結果顯示,點帶石斑飼料中添加益生菌B. licheniformis FRI MY-55及其乳果糖與果聚糖產物,有助於提升魚隻抵抗病原菌的能力。

The effects of dietary supplementation with Bacillus licheniformis FRI MY-55 and its fermented products, lactosucrose and levan, on short-chain fatty acid and lactic acid in feces, immune status, and pathogen resistance of the spotted grouper Epinephelus coioides were investigated. Spotted grouper were fed diets supplemented with B. licheniformis FRI MY-55 + lactosucrose and B. licheniformis FRI MY-55 + levan for up to 10 weeks. The total short-chain fatty acid and lactic acid levels in feces of the fish fed experimental diets for 5 and 10 weeks were significantly higher compared to those of the control group. Before and after Vibrio harveyi challenge, lysozyme activity of the experimental groups was significantly higher than that of the control group (p < 0.05). After V. harveyi challenge, the respiratory burst and survival rates of the fish fed experimental diets were significantly higher than those of the control group (p < 0.05). Overall, the results of this study indicate that dietary administration of B. licheniformis FRI MY-55 and its products, lactosucrose and levan, enhances the pathogen resistance of orange-spotted grouper.
