The purpose of this study was to investigate the background content of heavy metals in aquatic feeds. According to the results, the types of aquatic feeds including grouper, sea perch, tilapia, milkfish, sweetfish, mullet, and eel. The following is to do the analysis of heavy metals includeing cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), and mercury. A total of 50 samples were collected and analyzed. The average levels of lead, cadmium, and mercury were 0.22-1.31 ppm, 0.11-5.44ppm, and undetected- 0.08 mg / kg, respectively. The analysis results showed that some grouper and eel feeds had high levels of cadmium.
