This study is to understand the processes of artificial propagation ofMercenaria mercenariaand the effect of different salinity on the growth rate and survival rate of juveniles. Propagation process was to select mature broodstock and to cool dry for four hours, then put into 3.5 tons of glass fiber water tank for artificial breeding. Artificial propagation of this year were nine times, seven times were success, fertilized eggs per batch were between 1200 to 3200 ten thousand. Effect of different salinity 15,20,25,30,35 psu on the growth of juvenile: the initial average shell length 16.00 ± 0.93mm and total weight of 1.225± 0.229g ofMercenaria mercenariawere used for growth performance. In shell length growth, the length growth rate were between 6.51% to 25.29% .The 20psu ,25psu,30psu groups were significantly higher than the other groups, followed by 35 psu , the worst was the 15 psu group significantly lower than the other groups. In weight growth , the weight increase rate were between 28.79% to 92.79%. The 25 psu group was significantly higher than the other groups, followed by 20psu and 30 psu groups , the worst was the 15 psu group significantly lower than the other groups. The survival rate were between 88.88% to 100.00%, 100% is best in the 20psu group, and the worst is 88.88% in the 35psu group.
