The purpose of this study is to increase the usage of nitrogen in the aquaponic system. Tilapia and lettuce were cultured in the system and Biofloc was cultivated to feed the ornamental shrimps. The system was extended with a Biofloc culture tank and an ornamental shrimp culture space. Biofloc formation was assessed in order to increase the usage of nitrogen in system. The aquaponic system is described as follows. The total water volume is 1500 L in which 500L water was set in the fish culture tank. The total fish weight is 20 Kg. Lettuce were cultivated for 30 days. The volume of Biofloc culture tank is 120 L and the volume ofNeocaridina sppculture tank is 136 L in which 6 pieces of nonwoven fabrics (40x30 cm 2 ) were set to host the shrimps. There are 1800 shrimps cultured in the tank. In Biofloc experiments, C/N25 has the most Biofloc formation(about 18 ml/L) among the groups C/N0, C/N10, C/N15, C/N20, and C/N25. The concentrations of ammonia, NO 2-and NO 3-in the Biofloc formed groups were lower than control. Additionally, the aquaponic systems were modularized in order to simplify the assembly process of the systems. We have completed two modular aquaponic sytmes which are indoor and outdoor. The modular techniques will facilitate the promotion of aquaponic systems. This year, the two types of aquaponic modules were completed, They were set up in theKoupi Experimental Elementary Schooland MOHW Tainan Hospital SIN-HUA Branch for endurance test and situational test. Indoor system focuses on aesthetics and easy maintenance, outdoor systems can actually be produced in addition to ecological landscapes. A total of 45 questionnaires were collected from the trial, and opinions from different ethnic groups were also different. Primary school students attach importance to the characteristics of water conservation, and teachers attach importance to environmental sustainability, Medical staff pay attention to the living conditions of fish. The main spillover effect is that the aquaponics module has an actual healing effect and has the effect of relieving stress and stability.
