太平洋深海狐鮫漁業資源評估調查

今年深海狐鮫已被列入CITES附錄二之名錄,且ICCAT與IOTC已將本種列入禁止漁獲 名單,WCPFC亦有可能在將來針對本種進行資源評估與管理。因此,本研究利用人口 學模式與單位加入親魚量模式進行太平洋深海狐鮫之資源評估,瞭解本種之資源現 況。調查結果顯示臺灣近海鮪延繩釣漁船主要漁獲深海狐鮫的月份為12月到翌年4月 ,2001-2016年間年漁獲量在208-405公噸之間,平均為270公噸。分析深海狐鮫年漁 獲平均體重顯示呈現一個下降的趨勢,有魚體小型化的現象。 研究結果指出本種族 群成長率為0.81-0.95 year-1,單位加入親魚量模式(SPR)分析結果顯示,目前的 親魚量比例(spawning-potential ratio; SPR%)遠低於一般鯊魚類常用的參考點 SPR 35% 或SPR 30%,顯示現今太平洋深海狐鮫的漁獲壓力下已經處於過度開發的情況。

Bigeye thresher shark have been included in the CITES Appendix II list in this year, and ICCAT and IOTC have been included in the list of prohibited species, WCPFC may also carry on resource assessment and management of this species in the future. Therefore, to understand current resource of bigeye thresher shark, demographic and spawning per recruit (SPR) models were used for stock assessment of this species in the Pacific Ocean in this study. The results showed that Taiwanese tuna longline fishing vessels catch bigeye thresher shark mainly from December to April, annual production were 208 -405 metric tonnes from 2001 to 2016 with an average of 270 tonnes. Analysis average weight of bigeye thresher shark, the results showed a downward trend by years and fish size became smaller in trend. The results showed that population growth rates of this species were 0.81-0.95 year -1 . SPR analysis showed that the current spawning-potential ratio (SPR%) was much lower than the biological reference point SPR35%or SPR30%of common sharks, indicating that current fishing pressure of Pacific bigeye thresher shark has been overexploitation.
