The project continued to collect biological samples and fishing vessels' logbook of swordtip squid to understand its biometric variations and resource fluctuation between years. We also collected the environmental data in the fishing ground of swordtip squid in the waters of north Taiwan (such as sea surface temperature, water color, etc.), and analyzed the interaction between environmental factors and the catch of swordtip squid. We will try to build usable models to assess the resource of swordtip squid.
