The east Asian fourfinger threadfin (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) is the most important mariculture species in recent years in Taiwan. However, drug residue problems often occur due to improper drug use by farmers, seriously hit consumers' trust in the safety of east asian fourfinger threadfin, and also have a heavy impact on the farming industry for east asian fourfinger threadfin. To explore the reason is mainly caused by high stocking density and improper breeding management. In order to help solve industrial problems, we consist of a technical service team composed of the Veterinary Research Institute and Fisheries Research Institute, to counsel breeders of the east asian fourfinger threadfin in the field, and promote the concepts of reasonable stocking density and correct breeding management. At same time, we will establish several demonstration fields of safety productin for the east asian fourfinger threadfin, and it will provide a model to emulate for farmers. Ultimately, this project aims to teach farmers the concept of safe production and reduce the use of chemicals in farming. It will promote the upgrading of the farming industry for east asian fourfinger threadfin. Provide better quality aquatic products to ensure the food safety of people in Taiwan.
