This project will use species of high economic value such as flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus), lobster (Panulirus homarus) and sea urchins (Tripneustes gratilla) to change the light environment through lightemitting diodes to increase survival rates and create more aquaculture production, while maintaining food safety. Paralichthys olivaceus:The flounder currently sold in Taiwan are mainly imported from China, Greenland, Canada and other countries. This project attempts to establish growth data and meat quality analysis of Japanese flounder under different light conditions in Taiwan to reduce breeding costs. Panulirus homarus : The import volume of live lobster reached more than 500 tons in 2020, and the volume volume of lobster products also remained high. Panulirus homarus is the most productive species among the lobster genus produced in Taiwan, and it is the main species of lobster breeding. This study attempts to regulate the light wavelength in the water to observe the phototaxis of lobsters, and find out the most suitable wavelength for the growth of lobsters It may be useful for promoting the development of the lobster farming industry.
