Chaetodontidae are the main marine aquarium fish species. This project aims to develop the artificial breeding techniques for Chaetodon vagabundus from stock rearing, natural spawning, larvae and juveniles care. The body and mouth sizes of Chaetodon vagabundus larvae are smaller than other marine fish larvae. Thus, it is more difficult to breeding the ornamental fish. Ciliates are used as the food organisms for the larvae in Taiwan. However, the baits could be media for infection since the production process is easily to carry In this study.
