益生菌在水產養殖之應用及其抗病活性機制之研究

本研究擬建構益生菌在水產繁養殖產業應用之最佳模式,探討其強化種苗抗病之能力。而光合成細菌具備豐富營養及水質淨化等特性,期應用於石斑魚類種苗生產之培育過程,解決育苗活存率低及不穩定之問題。此外,海鱺在養殖過程中,常因篩選、搬運、移動等操作或魚隻搶食相互擦撞而受傷,極易受病原菌感染,而引起相當量的死亡。故為增進海鱺養殖產業之競爭力,將發展適用之疫苗,降低海鱺之罹病率,增進漁民之收益,以減少水產藥物之使用。

The optimal methods and anti-diseased abilities of probiotics used in aquaculture will beinvestigated. The photosynthetic bacteria (PSB) was used in organic wastewatertreatment to improve environmental quality and clarification of seawater in fishcultivation, but less used as a feed to fish larvae and zooplankton. The studies of PSBapplied in grouper seed production will be involved in this project. Meanwhile, the cobiais generally fast growing, hardy, suitable for intensive culture, and with excellentcharacteristics for processing. While a number of factors, including fish grading,transferring, and transporting might induce infections by bacteria, and have beenattributed to a measurable mass mortality during the cage culture. The vaccine toenhance resistance of cobia against pathogenic bacteria infection will be developed toreduce the uses of chemical drugs during the farming period.
