1.安排接待國內外來賓參觀本所水產陳列館及水族館，增加國人對漁業之認知，達到社會教育之功能。2.藉由本所各種水產技術推廣手冊、簡報、專輯、年報、水產技術和「水產研究」期刊等出版品之發行，提升技術推廣和為民服務之品質。3.藉由水產技術諮詢為民服務電子信箱處理，增進一般民眾水產知識。4.製作石斑魚等人工繁養殖技術及種苗量產技術之推廣多媒體，交研究人員推廣時應用，增進養殖漁民專業技能。

Public opinions on fishery technique inquiry by e-mail may improve the related mattersof public service. Due to the improvement of fishery science and technique and theelevation of the concept on the ecology and resource conservation, the traditionalexhibition contents and service manner must be adjusted and changed.We will publishseveral publications such as "Journal of Taiwan Fisheries", "TFRI Newsletter". annualand extension manuals for the institutes, either national or foreign, to change the fisheryinformation and extend the fishery technique.
