The variation of benthic fauna can serve not only as the best indicator of benthicenvironment of aquaculture pond, but also as natural feed for aquaculture species.Hence, the benthic animal play an important role in ecology of aquaculture pond. Thisstudy aims at investigating dynamics of the benthic animal species composition and theirrelationship with benthic environment in the marine aquaculture ponds and adjacentcoastal waters. The data can be used as reference for improvement of managingtechniques to increase the survival rate and growth rate of culture species, enhance theefficiency of water usage and ease the impact of aquaculture to the natural environment.
