台灣周邊海域漁場監測

為建立台灣周邊海域漁場環境之長期水文資料,整合漁業資源變動資訊,健全漁海況短期速報及長期預報模式之目標乃實施本計劃。本計劃選定台灣周邊62個測站,執行CTD投放及分層採水等作業,獲取水溫、鹽度、密度、營養鹽類、動植物性浮游生物及氣象等基礎資料。預定按季實施四航次,並視作業能力逐年增加航次,期能完成長期資料庫系統之建立,提供各界參考。台灣東北海域是黑潮必經之處,其中的宜蘭灣周邊海域則為黑潮即將轉向東北前的重要海域,此區蘊藏豐富而多樣的海洋生物與漁業資源,因而成為主要的傳統拖網漁場。本計畫將從浮游橈足類的種類組成,主要種類之分布、豐度、消長和季節變動著手,逐年累積生物生態學及生物海洋學方面之資料,作為探討其在海域生態系及漁場形成時之關鍵程度,以便運用浮游生物的研究法,來瞭解漁業的長期變動與趨勢,進而做為評估與管理漁業資源的參考。

This plan is executed for creating long term fisheries environmental hydrographicdatabase and numerical models of fisheries prediction combined with variations offishing resources. Database ,included sea temperature, salinity, density, nutrientcontents, phyto-plankton, zoo-plankton and meteorologics, are collected by means ofCTD casting and water columns sampling in the selected 62 stations of coastal watersaround Taiwan. Four cruises are conducted seasonally in the first annual and morecruises are considered in the future.Some of primary objectives of this project are to analyze the relationship betweencopepod distribution and hydrological factors, to identify indicator species of watermasses, to monitor the fauna of marine planktonic copepods off northeastern Taiwan,and to discover the link between copepod fluctuation and the trawl fishery.
