The purpose of this study is to determine the feeding stimulating effects of nucleotidesand their related compounds on cobia. Soybean meal based artificial dietssupplemented with amino acids and nucleotides not only can evoke more active feedingbehavior, but also can improve the nutrition value and reduce the cost of the diets. Italso can reduce the percentage of uneaten diet rate to achieve the demand of protectingenvironment. The result of this study can provide as an important information for fishfarmers and feed makers when they purchase or manufacture fish diets.
