1. Five research vessels of Taiwan Fisheries Research Institute namely：FisheryResearcher 1. Hai-Fu. Hai-Chien. Hai-Nong. and Hai-An, annual repair andmaintenance have been arranged in this year.2. All experimental projects have been designed as Oceanographic survey of fishingground in the coastal waters around Taiwan, Exploitation and investigation of theunderutilized deep-water fishery resources off eastern and southwestern Taiwan, Theinvestigation and stock assessment on tunas around waters off Taiwan, A study onmackerel and scad fishery resources in northern waters of Taiwan, Monitoring thedemersal fishery resources of Taiwan EEZ(The management of trawl fishery in theNortheastern waters of Taiwan), A study on the fishing efficiency of lightshied panel atthe light-luring net fishing boat in Taiwan, and etc..3. This project will offer a series trial of the five vessels after repaired procedures, andalso to let all the investigation could be conducted completely and improve theireffectiveness of the study results.4. After integrate all the experimental intruments and computer link, we can use themto set up database of raw data,and improve the quality of information service for thefuture use of the fishery science.
