Dietary carnitine supplementation was found to improve growth in several fish species,and also been shown that dietary carnitine supplements reduced the lipid content of liverand muscle in several species. By contrast, dietary carnitine supplementation did notaffect growth performance in salmonids, nor did it reduce body lipid content in severalspecies. This study is conducted to investigate the effect of dietary carnitinesupplementation on the growth and body lipid distribution of hybrid tilapia.
