The objectives of this study are establishment of genetic stock and cultural techniques ofIvory shell, Babylonia areolata, and Octopus spp.. The stock will be collected andpreserved for utilization of researchers. The tank system, diet, growth, mature size,spawning season, embryonic development, hatching, and larvae rearing will be studies.The knowledge will be very valuable for the mass seed production. It is also needed tostudy monitoring and stock assessment on Octopus spp. fishery resource in the water ofPeng-Hu. These investigated data will provide the fishery administration to establish themanagement policy for Octopus spp. fishery.
