In the global ornamental fish market, the angelfish, Pterophyllum spp., is one of the mostimportant species. It's culture by numerous professional and amateur breeders and avariety of strain has been developed over the years. However, our knowledge on theeffect of photoperiod and temperature in reproduction systems is limited. The aim of thisstudy was to evaluate the combined effect of different photoperiod and temp. conditionson gonad development, egg fertilization rate and fry growth for angelfish.
