自動化染色体操作系統在重要魚類之應用研究

本計畫旨在逐步建立我國細胞生物技術在供試魚類之應用,仿造貝類方面建議繁殖業者採用自動化系統進行染色體套數操作之生產技法,同時協助養殖業者升級朝選用可快速達到上市體型及改善肉質的多倍体魚苗方向努力。本計畫一旦執行完善,則可向其他魚類之繁養殖業者示範同種模式,最後落實以生物技術創新我國水產養殖國際競爭力的可行性。

The proposal is aimed to establish the cytobiological biotechnology to be used in selectedlocal finfishes in Taiwan. The tentative research approaches will follow that used inshellfish so that technologies of chromosome manipulation via automatic apparatus willbecome available also in finfish. Meanwhile, owners of aquaculture hatcheries willtherefore have high possibility to adopt scientific biotechnology to achieve the goal ofproducing fast-growing fish and to improve the quality of polyploid finfish harvestedduring its propagation season. The further purpose is to demonstrate to more fishhatchery owners of non-experimental species such a modern biotechnology with thehigh potential of international competition.
