廢棄牡蠣殼多元利用之開發研究

長久以來牡蠣殼被視為廢棄物,因此如何有效利用廢棄牡蠣殼是現階段必須重視的課題之ㄧ,本研究取牡蠣殼珍珠層胜肽及煅燒牡蠣殼粉兩項機能性成份進行多元化之應用。牡蠣殼粉在煅燒後能使總表面積增加,縮小粒徑與提升吸附低分子量之能力。而於抗菌應用上,0.25%煅燒牡蠣殼粉對於金黃色葡萄球菌、大腸桿菌、李斯特菌、沙門氏菌、仙人掌桿菌與腳臭產生菌皆具有抑制生長之效果。對於蔬菜、魚肉能延長其保存期限與品質,並且能夠有效降低牙刷與抹布之生菌數。除此之外,以煅燒牡蠣殼粉所製成之空氣濾網與抗菌織材皆具有防黴抗菌的功效。珍珠層胜肽擁有保護角質細胞,避免紫外線損傷的能力,但是對於修復損傷後的角質細胞,並無顯著之效果。

Oyster shell was regarded as fishery waste for long time, therefore how to apply oyster shell which is one of the most important issues in recent year. In this study, we developed multiple applications of pearl layer peptide and burned power extracted from oyster shell. After burning, the total superficial area of burned oyster shell was larger than un-burned one and particle diameter was smaller. These physical properties could raise the absorbability of low molecular weight substance. About the application of burned oyster shell used in anti-bacterial, 0.25% burned oyster shell can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella typhimuriun, Bcillus cereus and Micrococcus luteus. Since the anti-bacterial property of burned oyster shell, when vegetables and fish fillet after cleaning by burned oyster shell solution, the storage time could be elongated. And it also can reduce the total plate count of toothbrush and duster. Air conditioner filter and fiber containing burned oyster shell, which also have the ability of anti-bacterial and anti-mold. The pearl layer peptide could prevent the keratinocyte cell from UV injury, but there was no significant effect on cure for UV injury.
