台灣周邊海域鯖鰺仔稚魚分布之調查研究

為了解花腹鯖仔魚的孵化日及初期成長,本研究利用2005年3 ~ 5月間,在臺灣東北部海域設置的36個測站所採獲的花腹鯖仔稚魚,來進行其耳石日周輪之分析。研究期間,共使用102尾花腹鯖仔魚樣本,它們的體長範圍在2.8~9.1mm,其中以脊索末端上屈中期 ( Fl ) 仔魚為最多。每一尾仔魚左右兩側的sagitta ( 扁平石 ) 和lapillus ( 礫石 ) 均取出進行分析。結果發現,初孵化的仔魚之sagitta和lapillus大小十分接近,但由於成長速率不同,使得它們的大小隨著日齡增加,差距會越來越大。其次,以簡單線性迴歸分析來看耳石成長和魚體成長的相關性,發現sagitta成長和魚體高的成長之相關性較高,而lapillus則和魚體長較相關,且發育階段的成長變化支持這個結果。再次,仔魚在發育階段的後期,魚體和耳石的成長速率都是最快的。花腹鯖仔魚體長 ( mm ) 和日齡 ( day ) 的關係為SL =2.4 + 0.4 × Age。樣本的日齡範圍在2~14天之間,各發育階段日齡分別為:Pr期2~10天,Fl期4~14天,Po期10~13天。回推孵化日發現,花腹鯖產卵期在3、4月且各有一個產卵高峰期,並且有在新月前後產卵的傾向。

To clarify the hatching dates and the growth of early life stage of the spotted mackerel, daily growth increments in otolith of 102 larvae caught from 36 stations in the northeastern waters off Taiwan were analyzed. The standard length of the larvae ranged from 2.8 to 9.1 mm and most of them were at flexion stage. The sizes of sagittae and lapilli from the newly hatched larvae were similar. Sagittae were much bigger than lapilli at the late growth stage. The simple regression analysis indicated that the growth of sagittae was more related to body depth and lapilli related to body length. The growth rates of the larvae of spotted mackerel increased with development stage, which were postflexion > flexion > preflexion, suggesting that the growth rate appeared in the late larval stage. Daily age of the larvae ranged from 2 to 14 days and the growth curve at larval stage was SL = 2.4 + 0.4 × Age. Hatching date backcalculated from the daily age of the larvae indicated that the fish spawned in the new moon.
