The reproduction mechanism of mud shrimp is investigated, in order to try to carry out the breeding work, and to increase its resources. Results show that the development condition of mud shrimp ovary, on the back of abdominal segment, can be checked by its shape, and be divided into stages of under-development, early development, middle-development and late development. Besides, fertilized eggs, before hatching, will change colors at different development times, then can be divided as at early (yellow-green), middle (orange- yellow) or late (transparent) stages.
