Two experiments were conducted to study the optimum dietary protein and lipid of juvenile tiger grouper. In experiment 1, casein and fish meal as protein source were added to the basal diets ranging from 30-60% protein. All seven diets were fed for 8 weeks to triplicate groups of tiger grouper ( average initial weight: 39g), The regression line that fit the percent weight gain has a breakpoint at 52.6%. Feed conversion ratio (FCR) were lower in tiger grouper fed with 55 and 60 % protein. In experiment 2, seven dietary lipid levels (2-14%),the experiment diets were fed for 10 weeks to triplicate groups of tiger grouper (average weight: 24g).The second-order regression of weight gain percent of dietary lipid indicate that the optimum lipid level for growth of juvenile tiger grouper is 6.77%. Feed conversion ratio (FCR) were lower in tiger grouper fed with 6% lipid.
