微細藻節能收集法建立(新興計畫)

本計劃擬開發節能及高效率的微細藻收集方法,計畫中將試驗兩種收集方法,一種是藉由微生物的攝食行為來收集微細藻;另一種是利用化學凝集藻球的特性使微細藻沉降。計畫中使用的方法,不論是微生物或化學處理,兩者皆具節能並可重複利用的特性,因此能達到降低收集成本之目的。生物法的試驗過程發現L型輪蟲攝食速率約為S型輪蟲的10倍左右,因此使用較大型的輪蟲其收集效率較高,另外輪蟲代謝產物仍含有部分藻油,藉由過濾收集其代謝產物也可做為收集方法之一。利用不同氧化劑探討其對微細藻凝集效率的影響,結果以煅燒牡蠣殼配製之鹼液效果最佳,可將微細藻濃縮達50至100倍。改良鹼液濃縮方法以洋菜膠包覆煅燒牡蠣殼進行微細藻濃縮探討,由於可重複利用5次達到降低成本的目的,為計畫中最具可行性之微細藻收集方法。

The aim of study is building an energy-saving and high efficiency microalgae collecting method. There are two collection methods to be tested. One is using the microorganism to collect microalgae. The other is using chemical flocculants for flocculating microalgae. Both the methods are energy-saving and reusable, thus, the aim of reducing collection costs can be achieved. In the microorganism collecting method, the result showed that the L type rotifer has 10 times ingestion rate than S type rotifer, we can using bigger rotifer to get higher collection rate of microalgae. Besides, the metabolite of rotifer remain contain oil of microalgae, collect metabolite of rotifer is one of the collection method. To investigate the collection efficiency by different oxidizer, the result show using the alkali can concentrate microalgae up to 50-100 folds is the best efficiency. Improving the alkali method by using agar coating calcined oyster shell powder, the method can reduce cost due to 5 folds reuse, and it is the best feasibility method of microalgae collection in the study.
