褐藻作為護肝及血糖調節保健新素材之研究

自褐藻中萃取多醣類物質,以離子交換樹脂進行分離純化,而後進行醣組成分析。利用初代肝細胞評估褐藻多醣體對細胞存活率及抗氧化酵素活性之影響。而後以四氯化碳對大鼠造成肝損傷,餵食褐藻機能性多醣體,分析血液中抗氧化酵素活性、GOT、GPT含量。另外,以不同溶劑萃取褐藻中的多酚類物質,以胰島細胞評估褐藻多酚萃取物對細胞存活率及胰島素分泌之影響。

The functional polysaccharides from brown seaweed were isolated by ionexchanger column, and determine the monosaccharide composition by highperformance anion-exchange chromatography (HPAEC). Then, the effects of functional polysaccharides from brown seaweed will be analyzed on cell viability, antioxidation system in primary rat hepatocytes and hepatic protection against carbon tetrachloride (CCl4)-induced hepatic damage. The brown seaweed would be extracted by 3 different solvents in order to get crude polyphenolic substances. And we will use these crude polyphenolic substances treat with β cell for analyzing cell viability and insulin secretion.
