優質九孔選種及育種研究

本研究以優質海藻及底棲矽藻,分別作為九孔種貝及幼苗的餌藻。從基隆、台東、台南、澎湖及台日家族子代,選擇成長快速、幼苗產量高者育成親貝,進行單粒自交與雜交。比較幼苗成長性狀與種貝繁殖性狀,並由水產養殖組以分子技術輔助分析。選育優良九孔家族,並建立合適的繁養殖條件,以利優質品系之保存及利用。

The selected seaweed and benthic diatoms are used as the feed for adult and juvenile small abalone Haliotis diversicolor. The abalone populations from Keelung, Tatung, Tainan, Penghu and hybrid Taizu are reared and the good quality of brood stock are selected for offspring produced. The larval survival and juvenile growth rate from inbreeding and crossing among different populations were used for genetic selection. Family selection will be performed for genetic improvement by increase the heterosis degree. Additionally, the optimal condition for the growth and reproduction of those family will be established and as the reference for conservation and utilization for aquaculture.
