The objective of project this year is to establish the biosecure culture system of grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus). SPF larval culture technique will be established to increase the survival rate of each stage and to produce juveniles free of infection with NNV (Nervous Necrosis Virus) and GIV (Grouper Irido Virus). SPF juveniles can be used for the development of vaccine research, SPF culture system, and SPF broodstock.
