石斑商業飼料通常含有45-48%之蛋白質，來源大多來自魚粉，雖然營養價值高，但是相對的價錢也貴。而本計畫先前完成的結果顯示老虎斑的蛋白質需求為52%左右，其蛋白質需求相對的較高。養殖產業中飼料費用佔生產成本之50-60%。肉食性魚種需較高之蛋白質，因此其魚粉添加量也較多，而提高養殖成本。因此，本計畫以黃豆粉適量取代魚粉將可降低飼料成本，提高老虎斑之市場競爭力

According to previous test that grouper feeds needs 52 % crude protein, and it must be composed mostly of fish meal has hight nutritive value but is expensive.Soybean meal is the lower cost than fish meal and can replace partial or most fish meal in aquaculture feed. The objective of this experiment will to investigate the effects of feeding different proportion of fish meal replace by soybean meal to decrease the cost.
