The objective of the project is to establish the technology of mass production SPF larval, subadult and broodstock of Macrobrachium rosenbergii and to transfer the related technology to private sectors. Using the established biosecure facilities and related technology to go further to establish the mass production technology of SPF larvae
rearing, grow-out and broodstock culture. The know-how of biosecure facilities and the related SPF culture technology of Macrobrachium rosenbergii will be transfer to private sector with SPF shrimp larva and broodstock. It is hope that the SPF larvae can be cultured in SPF environment with high survival and high yield as a result of no infection
will occur during the culture.
