應用微藻進行碳吸存與藻油等生質利用之研究(新興優先推動計畫)

計畫目的為整合微藻利用煙道之碳減量,增加藻體生質之碳吸存,利用禽畜糞尿有機廢水之營養鹽,開發藻油等生質利用之碳替代。重要工作項目包括:以本中心保存之7綱微藻,篩選可吸存煙道含碳廢氣及利用有機廢水碳、氮、磷、鐵營養鹽之藻種。與工研院及大學合作,開發吸收技術將煙道氣吸存為體積小及高濃度之碳源液體,以便於輸送及摻配利用;開發微藻量產系統,藻體收穫、轉製藻油等生質之利用。

This study aims to combine the flue gas CO2 removal by microalgae, carbon sequestration through biomass increase, nutrient uptake of waste water from livestock and food processing factory, and carbon substitution of the raw material for bio-fuel or the other value-added commodity. The important works include selection the microalgae species, from the culture collection of this center, which could absorb the flue gas CO2 and uptake the nutrients from the waste water. Cooperate with the ITRI and university to develop the technology including CO2 absorption into a small volume with high concentration of carbon for transport and application, microalgae mass culture system, biomass harvest and bio-fuel or the other commodity transformation.
