Bioactive peptides from marine animal and plants through hydrolysis by
proteolytic enzyme, they due to their structure and composition of amino
acid, have been shown to exhibit variety of functional properties,
including antioxidant, anti-aging, angiotensin-I-converting enzyme
inhibitory, lower cholesterol and immunomodulatory activities. The aims
of this study regard to evaluate the efficiency on lipid modulatory of
functional peptides, which was prepared from enzymatic hydrolysate of
squid skin. Finally the marine functional peptides is attempted to use as
novel material for healthy foods.
