The project will monitor diseases of conservated fish species in Aquatic
Genetic Resource Bank and set up persistently healthy manangements for 2
years. The works to monitor fish diseases will survey the prevelance of
various diseases from conservated fish candidates, and study the
pathogenesis of these diseases by using pathological and molecular
biological technique, then suggest a plan to solve these problems basing
on management, water quality, feeds and medical level to achieve the aim
of disease monitor. On healthy management level, firstly, we will create
various parameters to estimate the growing and healthy conditon of
fish, modify them depend on clinical practice in the routing fishery
management, and set up the data bank for researchers. Secondly, we will
integrate fishery management, feeding ingredients and additive to chieve the aim of promoting the production of more healthy and stronger
conservated fishes in Aquatic Genetic Resource Bank persistently. In
2014, this project will select freshwater nile tilapia as experimental
animals. Basing on the comparison of the fish diseases, blood physiology,
anatomy and environmental factors, a solution for improving the abnormal
fish condition will be proposed. The initial establishment of affecting
fish growth and health assessment of the parameters, not only can provide
kinds of raw fish conservation library data base stability is also kind
of Germplasm repository fish health management process to develop a
standard operating mode.
