種鰻海水育成模式之研究

本研究發現人工養殖於淡水多年的日本鰻種鰻,經過海水馴化後仍可以誘導攝食,且經過採樣部份種鰻體重有所增加。進一步分析其生殖腺發育,蓄養於海水雌鰻的性腺指標(GSI),相較於蓄養於淡水雌鰻為高,可以達到1.462±0.103%,卵徑也較大。本研究也藉由埋植性激素藥粒來進行種鰻的催熟比較,發現埋植雄性素的雌鰻,有明顯的銀化現象。體重指標(BWI)在兩周內可以上升到103.44±1.103%,其生殖腺發育確實有顯著發展,性腺指標(GSI)於第四周可以達到4.85%,卵徑也上升至336±23.32um;反之,埋植LHRHa藥粒的雌鰻生殖腺則沒有顯著的變化。

In this study, We found Japanese eel brookstocks cultured in freshwater for years can be induced feeding after seawater acclimation. The weight of those Japanese eel brookstocks is increased. After analysis of gonad development, The higher GSI(about 1.462±0.103%) of Japanese eel brookstocks stocked in seawater than in freshwater. The oocytes diameter of Japanese eel brookstocks stocked in seawater is also larger. We also try to induce mature of Japanese eel by using the technique of sex-hormone pellets implantation. The result shows the BWI(body weight index) of the female eels increased(about 103.44±1.103%) after two weeks of implantation of androgen pellet. And the GSI (about 4.85%) and oocytes(about 336±23.32um) diameter also increased after four weeks of implantation of androgen pellet. On the other hand, no significant difference of silvering situation and gonad development was found in the female eels with implantation of LHRHa pellet.
