The objective of this proposal is to ensure that the aquatic feed and its additive are both safe and wholesome. Reported aquatic food safety risks, which may be associated with the use of compound aquatic feeds, usually result from the possible presence of unwanted contaminants, either with the feed ingredients used or from the external contamination of the finished feed on prolonged storage. This proposal contains two parts: promotion of the analysis in aquatic feed and strengthening development of feed additive. The ultimate goal will achieve sustainable aquaculture, such as aquatic food safety and environment friendly aquaculture.
