(一)庫達海馬的每次生產卵數有限,一般數量在數百至一千多,若希望進行量產養殖,勢必蓄養為數不少的種魚,方能提供足夠的種苗生產。除了每次生產種苗數量少外,雌雄配對及交配是否成功,亦是一個限制種苗生產量的重要因素。因此,有必要在人工養殖環境下建立一個良好的庫達海馬雌雄配對機制。計畫利用各種不同的物理機制調控及配對比,提升庫達海馬配對的比例及交配成功率,同時配合良好的種苗養殖技術,應能建全庫達海馬的養殖技術。

The number of the eggs spawned by seahorses each time is limited. The average numberis from many hundred to more than one thousand. If we want to make the massproduction of seahorses, we have to culture many seeds in order to supply enough fries.Besides the production of the seeds is numbered, whether mating is successful or not isanother key factor of limiting the production of the fries. Therefore, it is necessary tobuild a good matching model under the circumstances of aquaculture. We will usedifferent environmental factors and mating rate to promote the proportion ofseahorses(Hippocampus kuda) matching and the proportion of successful matching.We can adopt the good skills of the seed production at the same time, and thus we canbuild a good production technique of seahorses.
