九孔種貝免疫力之研究

本研究分析:1.九孔種貝在週年內淋巴液指數的改變與環境因子的變化,2.人工催熟對於種貝生理與免疫力的影響。我們發現,在生殖季的九孔種貝血中葡萄糖、蛋白質、總血淋巴球數及免疫酵素活性都較非生殖季者低。水溫及性腺發育可能對此指數的變化扮演重要的腳色。
在第二個實驗中,雄種貝以乾出及變溫刺激人工催熟。在降溫過程後期,九孔開始產精。結果顯示,曝曬及產精都會誘導九孔血糖上升;在淋巴液免疫酵素中,鹼性磷酸酶也呈現顯著變化者,其活性在產精後明顯下降,不過其他3種酵素的活性則沒有出現顯著變化。

The aim of the study is to investigate: (1). The annual changes in hemolymphatic parameters of the small abalone broodstock and in environmental variables. (2). The impacts of inducing spawning on hemolymphatic parameters of the abalone. In the first experiment, we found that the serum sugar, protein, total hemocyte number and immune enzymes in the abalone during the reproductive season, October to January, were lower than those during the non-reproductive season. Water temperature and gonadal maturation could play major roles in this change.
In the second experiment, mature adult abalone was induced to spawn by sun-exposure and thermal shock. They spawned in the end of the cooling. The results showed that sun-exposure and spawning significantly induced higher content of serum sugar but did not produce a significant impact on the serum protein, hemocyanin, and osmolarity. The activity of ALP did decrease after spawning, although those in the other 3 immune enzymes did not change significantly.
