101年度鰻魚人工放流

行政院農業委員會水產試驗所自民國65年起陸續實施種鰻放流工作,至今已完成48次放流工作,本種鰻放流工作,對資源保育之貢獻普獲中、日養鰻業界之重視與肯定,奠定養鰻事業之安定營運。本年度依計畫分別於宜蘭縣宜蘭河、新竹縣鳳山溪、屏東縣高屏溪等河川2–3尾/公斤的成鰻共計約900公斤。在成鰻體內植入微電子晶片,以便追蹤評估放流效果,而且為便於漁民由外觀即可輕易辨識,放流鰻另以剪尾鰭標識與染色處理。此外,全數的鰻魚另以四環素(OTC)做耳石螢光染色標識處理。日本鰻經標識作業後,分別於各放流河川之放流點放流,目前仍繼續執行中。

The Japanese eel, Anguilla japonicu is a commercially important cultured species in Asia contries. Eel are catadramous, It spawn in the Pacific Ocean and the larvae migrate to estuaries. Most glass eel migrate upstream and grow in freshwater or brackishwater numberous years until maturation. But the ages at migration and growth rates for mature eel has been rearly studied. The object of releasing program for broodstock eel is necessary for not only the natural elver resources but also spawning migration research of matrue eel. Respectively, according to plan this year in Fengshan river(Hsinchu county), Kaoping river (Pingtung County) and Ilan river (Ilan County) released 2-3 fish / kg of adult eels total approximately 900 kg.
