The FRI researcher was dispatched to investigate and learn the operating systems of organic aquaculture in Israel for short-term training course in the middle of May 2012. Additionally, the Israeli expert, Dr. Harpaz of Agricultural Research Organization (ARO) was invited to actually help in the project to establish a pilot-scaled system for organic aquaculture in Taiwan in late June. These international exchange activities are beneficial to promote the techniques of organic aquaculture in Taiwan.
