Taiwan is considered as having one of the most advanced aquaculture
industries in the world, especially in the Asian area. However, the
organic fish or shrimp has not been found in any local farm. This project
will be conducted to establish a pilot-scaled pond that the pond
management of will be particularly practiced in accordance with the
written standards for organic aquaculture. The purpose is to build an
quasi-organic model for farming tilapia, so as to help farmers understand
the operating methods of organic aquaculture.
