本研究旨在研究外加甲狀腺素 (T3) 對點帶石斑卵孵化及初期仔魚發育的效果。我們將石斑魚授精卵及其所孵化的仔魚持續浸泡在0 (對照組)、0.1及1 ppm T3中48小時,結果顯示:在孵化率方面,各組間差異並不顯著。在發育方面,T3處理組的仔魚在孵化第一天時之體長、卵黃面積及油球面積均比對照組長、大,但僅1 ppm組的體長與對照組有顯著差異。然而,到了孵化第二天,甲狀腺素處理組的仔魚與對照組在體長、卵黃面積及油球面積均已無甚差異,此顯示甲狀腺素對石斑仔魚發育的促進效果似乎會隨發育過程逐漸消失。

摘要abstract(英)


The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of exogenous triiodothyronine (T3) on egg hatching and early larval development in grouper Epinephelus coioides. The fertilized eggs and hatched larvae were immersed in seawater containing 0 (control), 0.1 and 1 ppm of T3 for 48 hours. The results showed that T3 treatment did not influence the hatching rate. Newly hatched larvae, which were immersed in both T3 solutions for 24 hours, generally had longer total length (TL) and larger oil globule area (OA) and yolk area (YL) than control, but only the TL of 1-ppm group was significantly different from that of control. However, on day 2 after hatching, all of the TL, YA, and OA in the larvae treated with T3 were not significantly different from those of control group. This showed that the enhancing effect of T3 on developmental rate of grouper larvae seemed to disappear gradually.
