以碳酸氫鈉及硫酸麻醉黑鯛之探討

本實驗以碳酸氫鈉溶液及硫酸溶液混合添入水中的方式對黑鯛進行麻醉。大致而言,碳酸氫鈉和硫酸的濃度愈低或魚體愈大,都會造成麻醉誘導時間的增長,且兩者的濃度大小亦會影響恢復時間。675 ppm碳酸氫鈉及395 ppm硫酸是較合適的混合添加濃度,可使大部份黑鯛的麻醉誘導時間和恢復時間限制在6分鐘內。實驗中及5天的恢復期內,實驗魚均未死亡,顯示此法對於黑鯛應為一有效且安全的麻醉方式。
黑鯛在濃度675 ppm碳酸氫鈉及395 ppm硫酸混合溶液麻醉下,各項生理指標的變化情形亦做調查試驗。結果顯示,黑鯛麻醉後,血容積比、血紅素、血糖值及血漿總蛋白量並未有變化。但在血漿氯離子值和滲透壓方面,兩組的差異達顯著水準,對照組的氯離子值高於麻醉組,不過滲透壓值卻低於麻醉組。

We mixed both solutions of sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) and sulfuric acid(H2SO4) in sea water to try to anesthetize black porgy Acanthopagrus schlegeli. The results indicated that the anesthetic induction time was correlatedpositively with body size and negatively with the concentration of NaHCO3 andH2SO4. But only the concentration influenced the recovery time. 675 ppm NaHCO3mixed with 395 ppm H2SO4 might be suitable to anesthetize black porgy becausethe induction time and the recovery time of most of the fish were less than 6minutes at this concentration. No fish died during anesthetization and 5 daysthereafter. Thus, this technique should be effective and safe foranesthetization of black porgy.
We also examined the changes of the physiological parameters of black porgyafter anesthetization by 675 ppm NaHCO3 mixed with 395 ppm H2SO4. The values ofhematocrit, hemoglobin, plasma glucose, and total plasma protein were notsignificantly different between the anesthesia and the control groups. While theplasma chloride ion concentration decreased significantly and the osmolarityincreased significantly after anesthetization.
