The main fishing grounds for the Sakura shrimp (Sergia lucens) fishery are in the waters of Donggang and Yilan.", and fishing season is from November to the May in the next year in Donggang, and from February to July in Yilan. The production value and quantity of Donggang cherry shrimp have been increasing since 2006, with a stable trend after 2013. The production of Yilan sakura shrimp showed an upward trend from 2012 to 2016, followed by a slight decrease. Compared to the waters of Yilan, Donggang sakura shrimp have higher production and value. In 2020, the production of Donggang cherry shrimp was 555 tons, with a value of 2,272,460,000 dollars; the production of Yilan cherry shrimp was 296 tons, with a value of 825,450,000 dollars. The sakura shrimp value accounts for 11% of the coastal fishing industry, indicating the importance of the positive cherry shrimp fishing industry for the coastal fishing industry. Sakura shrimp is one of the few floating animals that can be used directly, with a short life cycle and a resource that is easily affected by environmental changes. This study combines data to explore the relationship between environmental changes and catch yield, and identifies environmental factors that affect catch fluctuations. The model estimate is expected to find that the trend of climate change affecting the sakura shrimp fishing grounds in Donggang. This result can provide the industry with corresponding response and adaptation and reference for fishing management.
