															                            								本研究目的係評估牡蠣殼水溶性萃取物 (Oyster shell water soluble extract, OWE) 對抑制黑色素生成能力及受UVA/UVB光損傷之保護/修復作用。在抑制黑色素生成能力發現:2、4、8及16 mg/ml OWE皆能抑制酪胺酸酶活性,且隨濃度愈高其抑制能力愈強,且OWE並不會影響B16黑色素細胞之存活率。此外,OWE能促進HaCaT角質細胞之存活率,而於8 and 16 mg/ml濃度下能保護角質細胞對抗UVA/UVB光損傷,且其細胞存活率與胞內蛋白質含量皆顯著高於未添加OWE的負控制組。然而,OWE對UVA/UVB光損傷的HaCaT角質細胞則不具修復作用。
                            							
                            						摘要abstract(英) In order to enable effective utilization of oyster shell, the aim of this study was evaluating the melanogenesis inhibition and the protective effect against ultraviolet (UV) A/B-exposed of oyster shell water soluble extract (OWE). In the melanogenesis inhibition test, it was found that 2, 4, 8 and 16 mg/ml OWE inhibited the activity for tyrosinase in a concentration-dependent manner, and OWE also reduced the production of melanin on B16 melanoma cell. In addition, OWE promoted proliferation of HaCaT keratinocyte cell. At the concentration of 8 and 16 mg/ml, OWE protected keratinocyte cell against UVA/UVB-exposed damage, and the cell survivability and cellular protein content all were significantly higher than negative group. However, OWE showed no repair function on UVA/B-exposed damage.
